Upon calling or e-mailing to set up a consultation for a window film installation, please note dates and times when all parties who will be part of the decision-making process can be present. This will reduce confusion when it comes to choosing products and understanding the installation process per job. Have a basic idea in mind of the overall project, including specific goals. Goals include how much solar heat reduction, glare control, privacy, looks, and other factors you wish to achieve.
When is gets time for the installation, please clear the area(s). This includes furniture and other items, as well as people. Window film installations are delicate and require the least amount of obstacles and disturbances as possible. If you need a helping hand moving something away from the windows, just ask me. As a courtesy, I will remove blinds if necessary, but definitely won't stop you from doing it. Curtains can usually be pulled back. Cleaning and prepping the windows is my job, so don't worry about it.
One reservation people can have about a window film installation is the quality of installation. I take great pride in making sure the installation is as perfect as possible. With this in mind, please understand that my attention and focus is required. Debris from the window frames and the air can pose issues, so time and care must be taken. Minimal noise and distractions are highly requested. I will most definitely let you know if I need something, and please know this has been my job for a very long time.
